In conjunction with the release event for her book, We Make Constellations of the Stars, Sita Kuratomi Bhaumik will lead a hands-on workshop inviting participants to trace their creative origins through art. Using art as a strategy to connect memory and history with urgent social issues, the visual artist, food-justice organizer, and co-founder of the People’s Kitchen Collective will address decolonization, the hierarchy of the senses, the impact of migration, and more.
